In the midst of the COVID crisis, many businesses and nonprofits have had to pivot on their strategies and find new ways to do business, serve clients, and help their constituents. We have the privilege of working side-by-side with a number of outstanding organizations and are thankful for the ways we’ve been able to help in those transitions and we are excited to highlight some of those clients on the blog. First up: Urban Impact Foundation (UIF).
Urban Impact is a nonprofit here in Pittsburgh that provides programming in arts, athletics, and academics to students in Pittsburgh’s inner-city North Side neighborhoods. Their program model serves thousands of kids every year but when PA schools were shut down due to Corona Virus, UIF had to stop their normal programming as well. They quickly had to make a big switch to offering programs through video on YouTube which meant students needed iPads or computers, making sure students and families had meals and groceries, and providing educational support virtually to students now out of school. Each of those things is an act of service and their goal is to complete 14,000 of those in April.
As their partner, they turned to MSN to create a new way of reaching their existing donors and especially finding new donors to help fund these projects through a new digital strategy. Our Digital Services Team created a new digital ad strategy that used social media content and ads, a targeted email campaign, and a new COVID-19 mission-specific landing page. This new strategy successfully captured an increase in traffic of more than 200% to the Urban Impact Foundation’s social media and website generating $35,000 raised in the first three days. Check out the results of the campaign so far:
We love to see our clients have success and we are even happier to be a part of that. How can we help you connect to new donors, clients, or customers as you look to jump-start your business?
